Introducing Nature Nuggets with Rachel!
With more of us going out walking in the countryside each day with our families, it’s great to have a few activities up your sleeve to do with the kids.
To support parents and carers looking for fun outdoor learning activities, our Education Officer Rachel has created a new vlog called ‘Nature Nuggets’ – which will be uploaded regularly to our Youtube channel. The videos have been made in partnership with Ashdown Forest Education.
Each week Rachel (and her trusty dog, Biggles) will be out on her local High Weald walks showing you some of the amazing things that are happening in nature during the year and linking them to fun activities or challenges. It’s a great opportunity to explore the special nature on your doorstep and discover more about our wonderful High Weald landscape.
And if you’re a teacher, you can use them with pupils on a Welly Walk or in your school grounds as part of our High Weald Hero education programme.
