Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• To update you with information about the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the activities of the High Weald AONB Partnership (if you have consented to join our mailing list)

If you use a specific service or sign up to a grant scheme such as Sussex Lund or the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme, we will usually let you know how that service will use your personal information via a separate notice.

Your data will only be used by High Weald AONB Partnership for the purposes of communicating about the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We will not share your data with other agencies and bodies unless legally obliged to do so or unless you have consented to the sharing of your personal data to such persons.

How we store your personal information

If you are on our mailing list, your details are stored in Mailchimp.

Mailchimp stores customer data in the US, but is certified with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework which means that we comply with a heightened standard when handling Personal Data transferred to the US from the European Union.

We keep your name and contact email for 3 years, unless you contact us and ask us to delete your details from our system.
