We are currently recruiting to two new roles.
This role will expand our land management team and enable practical action on the ground. You’ll contribute to activity that leads to nature-friendly farming, woodland management, habitat creation and management, invasive species control and sustainable visitor access.
You will: take a landscape-led approach that reflects the character of the High Weald landscape and the needs of its communities; provide clear, multi-faceted and up-to-date advice that supports and inspires sustainable land management; help farmers and land managers with site surveys and mapping, management plans, grant applications, project specifications and contractor management; and facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing to help find solutions to land management challenges. .

This is a new and influential senior role, offering the opportunity to shape and lead a diverse programme of work that delivers the ambitions of the High Weald Management Plan.
You will: lead a portfolio of programmes and projects, ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement; work with partners, communities and land managers to turn ideas into action; develop and grow a strong pipeline of projects, from local initiatives to large-scale strategic programmes; and build momentum, overcome barriers and drive meaningful change.
