Virtual High Weald Walking Festival reaches thousands
A massive thank you to everyone who took part in the first ever self-guided High Weald Walking Festival.
Although the walk leaders weren’t able to take groups out as in previous years, the virtual ‘event’ had a fantastic response with more than 12,000 hits to the website during the month and more than 20,000 walk and map downloads!
We’ve received some lovely feedback and it’s been great to hear from so many who have explored the High Weald for the first time, discovered new walking routes in their local area or learned more about this historic and beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty:
