Join the High Weald Walking Festival: 9-17 September!

We’re delighted to announce that the sixth annual High Weald Walking Festival will take place from Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 September 2023.

Join us and experience the spectacular High Weald landscape in all its autumnal glory with an exciting programme of guided and self-guided walks for all – completely FREE OF CHARGE.

About the Festival

The High Weald Walking Festival is a collaboration between a number of local branches of The Ramblers and the High Weald AONB Partnership. ​

The Festival aims to help walkers of all abilities  explore and learn about the historic High Weald landscape.

Participants are led by experienced and knowledgeable guides from a range of organisations with a passion for the countryside, including Ramblers,  Sussex Wildlife Trust, CPRE Sussex and members of the High Weald AONB team.

For those who prefer to walk solo or at their own pace, a selection of downloadable, self-guided routes will be available to download from the Festival website during September.
