National Landscapes ‘Power to Convene’ Survey
Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.

Convening (bringing people together as a group) to achieve AONB purposes is a key activity of National Landscape Partnerships and their teams.

The Defra Environmental Land Management Tests and Trials programme is currently considering the role of local convenors in furthering their environmental aspirations.  There are six tests nationally, one being run by the High Weald National Landscape Partnership and another by the Peak District National Park Authority.

We would like to gather information from other National Landscape teams to

  1. raise the profile of our collective convening activity and its benefits
  2. inform the test recommendations.

We are interested in your general convening activity, as well as your convening activity with farmers and land managers.

This is a short survey and should only take about 20-30 minutes.

Responses will be collated and presented anonymously to Defra; however, we would appreciate your details to allow follow up communication if needed.
