High Weald

1.try to maintain or introduce traditional management where possible - traditional management will have led to the variety of species in your meadow.

2.consider undertaking a grassland survey to find out how many and what species are present in your land.

3.seek guidance, advice and grants to help with the care of your grassland.

If you think you grassland has wildlife value do not apply artificial fertilisers or pesticides, in 5 minutes you can destroy a habitat that may have taken 50 or even 100 year to evolve!
