Lamberhurst
Description: Lamberhurst is found about 10 miles to the East of Royal Tunbridge Wells on the busy A21, the main London to Hastings road. Lamberhurst is on the main A21 London to Hastings road, and for this reason there are a number of Public Houses in the village. A few shops still remain off the A21, which provide the necessities.

Matfield

Description: Matfield lies on the road between Pembury and Paddock Wood, about 6 miles to the north east of Royal Tunbridge Wells off the A21. Matfield has a number of small village shops providing the usual village items. The nearest shopping centre is Royal Tunbridge Wells about 6 miles to the south west

Mayfield

Description: Mayfield is a large village in north-east Sussex, 9 miles south of Tunbridge Wells off the A267. The village sign shows the figure of a young woman and children in a flower covered meadow, illustrating the Saxon origin of the village name, Maghefeld, or Maid's Field. Mayfield is quite a large village, and has a nice range of shops. The nearest small shopping centre is Heathfield about 4 miles to the south.

Mountfield
Description: Mountfield is a small village lying between Battle and Robertsbridge. It has had a range of names which have varied from Moundifeld, Mundifeld, Mundfield and Montifelle to the present Mountfield. Mountfield has limited services, and to to get anywhere a car is needed. A primary school is located in the area known as John's Cross, after an inn of the same name, which has provided for travellers for many centuries.

Newenden
Description: Newenden is situated about 3 miles south of Rolvenden , and north of the River Rother, which forms the county boundary between Kent and Sussex. Newenden has very limited services, Northiam is the nearest large village. The nearest shopping is in Tenterden about 6 miles to the north.
