Well Cottage B&B in Hawkhurst, Kent is situated down a quiet lane amidst the wonderful countryside of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It offers a range of different accommodation, with three rooms in the main house and two in the pretty garden pavilion. All of them enjoy uninterrupted views over rolling, tree-lined countryside. A Kentish style breakfast is served each morning in the cottage's sunroom.
Hawkhurst features a range of excellent restaurants and pubs (notably the Black Pig, which is within easy walking distance), farm shops, places for walking and the nearby Wealden Smokery. The coast at Rye and Hastings is just a short trip away and Royal Tunbridge Wells, Bodiam Castle and Sissinghurst Gardens are within easy reach. Bedgebury Forest, an excellent location for long walks, cycling, horse riding and adventure play, is close by and home to many different species of wildlife. Bewl Water is the largest reservoir in the High Weald and offers great walks, cycling and watersports. There are also several local gardens and National Trust properties which are well worth a visit.
The owners grow their own produce, source all other food from local suppliers and use the well in the garden to collect and conserve water.
During the summer months guests can enjoy a swim in the heated swimming pool.
