High Weald

WatersEndFarmWaters End Farm B&B offers self-catering accommodation near Cranbrook in Kent; set in forty three acres of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors can enjoy peace and tranquility with stunning views across lakes, rolling fields and hop gardens, vineyards and fruit orchards. The Hop Bine Studio is ideal for couples, with a bed that disappears behind a faux bookshelf during the day for extra space, an en suite bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. French windows open up onto the terrace and BBQ area, the studio's own beautiful garden space and views across farmland.

Guests can spend a morning strolling around the twelve acres of lakes, where resident kingfishers often fish and swallows, wild ducks, Greylag and Canada geese nest on the islands during the summer. Although not located in a village, Waters End is just a mile's walk from the Woodcock Inn, a lovely tucked-away pub dating back to the early 17th century that offers home cooked, locally sourced food. It is also close to the beautiful gardens at Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Pashley Manor.  The local vineyard at Chapel Down runs tasting tours.

Guests can immerse themselves in nature on the estate or cycle and walk around Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest. Bodiam Castle is close by and bird watchers can find mile after mile of shingle beach and many beautiful water birds at Dungeness.
