About this event
The High Weald Nature and Community Fund (previously known as Sussex Lund) is a great opportunity for all groups in Hastings who aim to create, manage or connect people to green spaces. The fund has provided over £1million to support nature projects across the local landscape in recent years. The grant fund criteria have recently been changed to make it even easier for community groups to apply, and applications from towns such as Hastings are particularly welcome. Grants range from £500 up to £20,000, with larger amounts available for large-scale, multi-year projects.
This event will:
- Explain the background to the Fund and the High Weald National Landscape.
- Types of project which could be funded, the grant application process and assessment criteria.
- Explore how Hastings nature groups could work more closely together to achieve their goals
Full details of the fund are available here – please take a look before attending: High Weald Nature and Community Fund – High Weald National Landscape >>
